The Digital Education initiative was started to improve the quality of the education in the rural set ups. Toon Mastiis an interactive animated video series developed by the Ernst and Young Foundation for Classes 1 to 5. The video series is designed as per the NCERT curriculum. Environmental Science and Mathematics is taught to the kids in Hindi using these videos where a facilitator from PRAYOG interacts with the students to test and understand if the students are able to grasp the lessons.

The District Magistrate Shri Rahul Kumar inaugurating the Digital Education program
The program was inaugurated by the District Magistrate Mr. Rahul Kumar on 8th June, 2016 to run initially in the two Government primary schools; Upgraded Middle School Badahara and Middle School Tulachapar in the Kuchaikote block of Gopalganj district.
This program is scaled up in more schools where the school teacher has taken up the role of the facilitator to use these videos to teach the regular classes. PRAYOG is now involved in the training of those teachers, assessment of the students and monitoring for the smooth functioning of the program in the schools by providing other technical support.
PRAYOG is expanding this project in more schools. You can also contribute to the expansion of the project. Every school set up will require about ₹30,000. You can donate by clicking below.
