Founder
Surya Prakash Rai
Surya is the Founder member of Prayog. He is an M.Phil from IIT Bombay and envisioned to start Prayog as a passion for community connect. He brings with him programmatic experience and nurturing a pool of library educators in Prayog. He has been into library work for more than 10 years now.
He is also a Wipro Fellow and currently focuses on the design and capacity building vertical of the organization. He also engages with diverse stakeholders to keep the library work thriving.

Abhishek Kumar Sharma
Abhishek is a marketing professional who works with a startup. Prior to this, he worked with Castrol India Limited, Amazon, VIP Industries and HIKE. He has held various positions in sales and marketing functions. He holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, and is a Postgraduate in Business Management with specialization in Sales and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur. He is an avid motorcyclist and loves to travel.
Program Coordinator & Library Educator
Binit Ranjan
Binit is a library educator and Program Cooordinator at PRAYOG. He is also a Wipro Fellow. He has been with the organization since 2015 and has played an integral role in its growth and success. Binit holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently leading the operations of all our library work in schools and community sites. He plays a major role in the library sessions design, building capacities of other team members and supervises the ground work. He is from neighbouring Siwan district. Binit strongly believes that every child deserves access to diverse books to explore the world of books, and he sees his work with PRAYOG as an opportunity to take the shared vision forward.

Ragini Kumari Sharma
Ragini is a library educator at PRAYOG. She joined the team in 2020 and has been instrumental in engaging with children across eight schools and one community site. Ragini has done Honors in Economics and comes from Madhomath village in Kuchaikote block, Gopalganj district, Bihar. She is 31 years old and engages with the children on regular basis. Ragini is a creative and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about creating engaging learning spaces for children. She sees her work with PRAYOG as a way to empower children and develop a love for reading and learning.
Anita Kumari
Anita is a library educator at PRAYOG. With an honors degree in Sociology, she has been supporting our team since 2020. She engages with children across ten schools and one community site, bringing her expertise in creative work, drawing, and space design. Anita is 29 years old and hails from Sherpur village in Kuchaikote block, Gopalganj district, Bihar. Anita is a hardworking and empathetic individual who has a strong passion for learning and engaging with children. She sees her work with PRAYOG as an opportunity to make a tangible impact in our community.

Kailash Pati Sah
Kailash has been a library educator at PRAYOG since 2019. He engages with children across ten schools and two community sites and also plays a key role in our data enabled approach. Kailash is 34 years old and comes from Sherpur village in Kuchaikot block, Gopalganj district, Bihar. Kailash is a detail-oriented and organized individual who is passionate about learning and improving.
Rambha Kumari
Rambha is a 24-year-old Graduate from Noniya tola, Kuchaikote, and has been taking care of field operations by facilitating library sessions in the schools and one community site. She has been associated with PRAYOG since January 2023.

Siddhi
is an India Fellow at PRAYOG, hailing from Pune, Maharashtra. With a Master's degree in history from Pune University. Joining PRAYOG as an India Fellow, an 18-month social leadership and experiential learning program, she is passionate about learning and exploration. Siddhi works as a library educator and supports the team in planning and process documentation. Prior to joining PRAYOG, Siddhi worked as a program coordinator at Chanakya Mandal, where she honed her skills in project management and leadership.
Zainab
is an India Fellow at PRAYOG. Originally from Srinagar, Kashmir. Zainab completed her Bachelor's in History and Political Science from Ramjas College, Delhi University, and is currently pursuing her MA in Rural Development. Zainab, driven by her curiosity and desire to learn and explore, joined PRAYOG as an India Fellow, an 18-month social leadership and experiential learning program, She works as a Library educator and supports the team in planning and process documentation. Prior to joining PRAYOG, Zainab worked with several NGOs, like Visionaries, Robin Hood Army, and has done social entrepreneurial projects with ENACTUS Ramjas.

Ishwar Chauhan
is a local community member from Bania Chapar village. He is the caretaker for the resource center and plays multiple roles in the organization, viz cooking for guests, arranging for logistics, etc. He has been associated with PRAYOG since October 2022.
Ashok Kumar Saw
is currently engaged as a multi purpose worker. His key role is in driving and supporting the team members with logistics arrangements. He also is a keen reader and participates in team discussions. He has been associated with PRAYOG since October 2022.
